About Me
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, my love for African wildlife began at an early age and only deepened as the years went by. My passion led me to become a Professional Guide, spending countless hours immersed in the beauty of nature, observing the incredible animals in their natural habitat. It was during this time that I discovered another calling—photography. Watching my clients capture the stunning landscapes and wildlife inspired me to pick up a camera and preserve the moments I was privileged to witness. From the beginning, my mission has always been to protect wildlife and the National Parks they call home. Although these areas are protected by law, enforcement alone is often not enough. While I’ve retired from guiding, I remain dedicated to this cause—using my photography and speaking engagements to raise awareness and inspire action.
Now based in Wales, I serve as Secretary of the North Wales Photographic Association (NWPA). I am a multi-award-winning photographer, proud to have achieved the Distinction level of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (DPAGB) and earned a BA Honours degree in Photography from The International Photography Institute. My work has been showcased in numerous international, national, and local exhibitions, earning recognition through a variety of prestigious awards. I have also had the honor of being shortlisted for African Photographer of the Year and Best of Africa Photographer on social media platforms.
With over 17 years of experience as a photography judge, I have had the pleasure of critiquing and inspiring talent across photography clubs in the UK. In addition, I give presentations on photography and my experiences in Africa, sharing insights into both the technical aspects of photography and the wonders of nature with audiences of all skill levels.
